Tesla Model S autopilot saves driver from side collision
The driver of this Tesla Model S had autopilot engaged while he was listening to an audio book. A boom lift truck changes into the Tesla's lane without seeing it, and the autopilot on the Model S veers to the right to avoid collision as well as warning the driver to take control of the vehicle. This would be great if every vehicle had autopilot to avoid collisions, since the truck would never have tried to come into the lane if it also had autopilot. Great way to promote the Tesla with real life situations that prove it's advanced safety features.
