Submarine breaks through ice surfacing in the Arctic

USS Hartford (SSN 768) comes to surface very smoothly breaking through what looks like solid ice and snow pack. The depth of the ice is enough to walk on safely, but the submarine was still able to break through it. This was at the Arctic circle near Ice Camp Sargo during Ice Exercise (ICEX) 2016. Should instill some peace of mind in the crew of the submarine knowing how strong the hull is.
